With a motive to revive and promote traditional martial art Gatka as sport different State and National level Gatka Associations and Federations constituted. Mainly Gatka Association of Punjab (GAP), Chandigarh Gatka Association (CGA), National Gatka Association of India (NGAI). Above mentions organizations constituted under the Asian Gatka Federation (AGF), Commonwealth Gatka Federation (CGF), World Gatka Federation (WGF). The World Gatka Federation now a registered sports body and promoting Gatka game tirelessly. WGF, Global Apex body for Gatka game, popularizing and standardizing the martial art Gatka as a game similar to other games at Global l level. WNGAI’s selfless and dedicated motive is to awake the masses about this ancient martial art, otherwise, it might happen that the next generation will totally be unaware of Gatka. It’s a humble effort to revive a forgotten and dying traditional martial art having a historical significance.
